How does your personal list compare to this? _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| I noticed that list earlier too.
From it I have only seen half of them, and was not terribly impressed with many.
1. Spiderman 3 - Haven't seen it yet. 2. Shrek the 3rd - Not terrible, but IMO the worst of the 3 3. Transformers - Ok, but a little short on character development 4. Pirates 3 - Almost a little too over the top for my tastes. I really liked the return of Captain Barbosa though, my favorite character. 5. Harry Potter-OotP - I predict this to go down as the worst Harry Potter film ever (well so far anyway). I was not impressed. 6. Bourne Ultimatum - Didn't see it. 7. 3000 - Looked too bloody for my taste, I had to abstain. 8. Ratatouille - Meh ok I guess. My kids borrowed this one and "Meet the Robinsons" on the same weekend. I prefered "the Robinsons" much more over this lack-luster film. 9. The Simpsons - Haven't seen it, not sure I will. 10. Wild Hogs - For some reason I have no interest in seeing this film. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I'll comment on those I have seen:
1. Spiderman 3 - I saw it, but it is easily the weakest of the three. There are just TOO many villians without enough time to really build their plotlines.
3. Transformers - Short on character development? It's about giant robots that transform into cars/planes. Who needs character development? We want maximum smashing!
4. Pirates 3 - The whole series has been over the top. I liked this one better than #2. The second one seemed like they were trying too hard to be funny. This one WAS funny and had several quirky scenes that are hilarious without meaning to be.
5. Harry Potter-Order of the Phoenix - I found this one to be a bit disappointing. By getting this film right at the 2 hour mark, a HUGE amount of storyline was removed. It's a decent action flick, but they left out so much of the scenes in the book that make people really love these characters. Hopefully, 6 & 7 will be better.
10. Wild Hogs - There were some funny moments, but the gay cop stuff in the first half I could have lived without.
One's I haven't watched: 2. Shrek the 3rd - Didn't see it. Might rent it. 6. Bourne Ultimatum - Didn't see it but might someday. 7. 3000 - Heard too many bad things about this film. I won't see it. 8. Ratatouille - I need to rent this one. I think it would be funny! 9. The Simpsons - Yawn. The Simpsons stopped being funny after the first season.

Good point, consider the target audience. I just think that the transformer characters had much more personality in the cartoon series then in this "action" movie. Just couldn't really empathize with them much in this film. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I think that they did this on purpose. Get the new demographic hooked quick. Then, in the upcoming sequel, give us more info on the Transformers' characters. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| You probably hit the nail on the head. And since it was a top 10 grossing film for the year, we are guarenteed a sequel. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

Obviously, because half of the top 10 grossing films this year were $equels. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| 1. Spiderman 3 - Seen it, but think it's probably the weakest of the 3. Still great fun though. 2. Shrek the 3rd - Not seen yet. 3. Transformers - Not seen yet. 4. Pirates 3 - No where near as good as 1, but pretty much similar to 2. (Both 2 and 3 gave me a headache for some reason). 5. Harry Potter-OotP - Great effort, better than 2, and 4. Not as good as 3 (which is my favourite, although the one that also made the least money at the box office - that either says something about the box office, or something about me!!!!!!) 6. Bourne Ultimatum - Not seen yet. 7. 3000 - Not seen yet. 8. Ratatouille - Supposed to be brilliant - and yes the animation was superb, but as a story I didn't like it that much. 9. The Simpsons - It's like an extended 1/2 hour episode!!! 10. Wild Hogs - Not seen yet. _________________ My Christian Metal Website......... Silence Is Madness
