About two years ago I got an idea for a song for Good Friday. It was based off of Black Sabbath's "Black Sabbath". It was a dud, and I shelved it. Recently I got the itch again. A week ago, I started working on different take. This one combines and element of "Black Sabbath" as well as "God is Dead?". Yesterday the lyrics and the theme came to me. I wanted to release it today, and have been putting the finishing touches on it. As with these things, either my allergies are getting to me, or I started getting a cold yesterday (yay!) So I had to go with a rough cut for the vocals. And as usual, it is last minute!
I'm including links to a YouTube video (just for audio, no lyrics or animation) as well as Band Camp (FREE high quality download) ReverbNation and Sound Cloud. Enjoy!

For this holiday, I decided to remix "The Crux". This has a thicker, fuller sound to it. Hope you enjoy!

This song came on shuffle yesterday and my wife heard it and exclaimed how much she liked it. Great stuff! But you know what would be even greater? That full-length album you keep talking about (i.e. I keep talking about)...

I am with Kerrick that you need to do a full length album. There isn't much out there in this vein as far as bold Christian lyrics are concerned. You've got your sound dialed in and could do a killer record.
I know a particular bass player that would love to do the bass work for you for the bargain price of having his name on the album and a free copy.
Also, how much would you charge me for a lyric video like this? I would like to do one for my songs "Legs" and "Bootlegger's Prayer".

At the beginning of the year, I was aiming at Spring. Then Summer. Now? Fall? One of my favorite quotes is: "Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans." It seems like some thing is always getting in the way.
As for the lyric video, I only work on my own stuff now. I have a few projects for other people that have been painfully dragging their feet. After those, I'm done.
