Rex Carroll's band before Whitecross was Fierce Heart. I don't know much about them but the debut CD has been recently remastered. Pretty good stuff, here is the CD here:
E Bay
Unfortunately it is from overseas. The record label is in England.

Here is a song from the original release:
MP3's are at Amazon but it is not the remastered version (and it doesn't have the bonus cuts).

You can order the re-mastered version of the album with bonus tracks at NEH Records. Please note that this is a secular release and that (as far as I can tell) Rex Carroll played no part in the lyrics.
Musically, this is classic eighties melodic and commercial hard rock reflective of the mid-eighties time frame in which the album was originally released.

Ok, thanks I was wondering that myself. I enjoyed the music and was listening to it and actually did not pay attention to the lyrics. Then I read an interview with "ArtieTHEonemanparty" and Rex was talking about them being offered the opening slot on the Deep Purple tour. I thought "cool, but would they really offer it to a Christian band?".
And thanks for the info Dynamis, I saw your initial post on CMR so I thought I would share over here. I just assumed it was a Christian band. Here is Artie's interview. I never knew Rex wanted to be in Whitesnake!
