That's a couple of favorites from almost every album. Except for downloads, some of these albums are going to be hard to find. Some have been reissued by Grrr Records and others by Retroactive. Hunt them down if you can.
Rez (or Resurrection Band) are different lyrically than a lot of bands. They do sing about Jesus but they also sing about social issues that we need to be aware of like homelessness, hunger, abuse, etc. They did great songs storying about people they've meet through ministry throughout the years. The point was to highlight their struggles and pain so that we could relate. The songs about Jesus then point us to the source of help. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| I would suggest them to listen to their box-set Music To Raise The Dead 1972-1998 | |

First Degree Apathy The Chair Shadows Child of the Blues Light
As long as you stay away from new wave Rez, it's hard to go wrong.

| They had a brief period of that, yes. It sucked. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| Several of their early albums have some synth being used but done tastefully and in a way that blends nicely with their bluesy sound. The album with the most new wave sound would be "Hostage" and the only studio album of theirs that I don't own.

| Hostage did have some really good songs on it though. Defective Youth, Attention, Tears In The Rain and Crimes were great. Unfortunately the synth driven songs messed the album up. On Bootleg Live, they had a song called Playground that had Wendy rapping in it. That was just awful. | |

| The one produced by Ty Tabor, "Lament" is pretty good too. (IMHO)
"Ampendectomy" is a cool take on some of the older tunes.
I highly recommend Glenn Kaiser Band as well. |
