| Why is WASP's Babylon or Golgotha not reviewed at Angelicwarlord..
Also what is the deal with the RIAA. not recording or keeping track of digital sales. Why do they also keep track of physical copies being sold. A sale is a sale whether digital or physical.

I'm willing to bet that Dynamis just doesn't have it yet. Plus, he may be waiting a while to see if there is a demand for him to write a review on that release. - Quote :

Although I thought the same as you, a quick Google search took me to an article on the RIAA that clearly states that digital sales and streaming of major label artists were being tracked starting back in 2013. http://www.riaa.com/newsitem.php?content_selector=newsandviews&news_month_filter=5&id=03662575-C88F-51CF-779C-8396A2B8D74D One might ask why they only do major labels. Two reasons. One, they are in bed with the major labels and are working to help collect royalties on the most well known artists. That brings more money into the RIAA. Second, there are so many indie artists out there that it would be almost impossible to track everything ever sold. Besides, Taylor Swift royalties are going to pile up a lot faster than say Saint. So, is it even worth going after those royalty collections if a band sells 1,000 copies? Its all about the $$$. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

This is kind of ironic in that I just finished work on the "Golgotha" review a couple of minutes ago and plan it have it online later this weekend. I go into a lot of detail about both Blackie Lawless' return to the faith and the "Golgotha" lyrics.

| I have it, but have only listened to it twice. The first stand-out track I noticed was "Slaves of the New World Order". _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| ^^ "Slaves" is on Golgotha; I believe rich71 asked about Babylon. @rich71 I have yet to hear a song on Babylon that I don't like, although they could have left off the cover of "Burn." It was well done, but I've rarely liked "redoes" as much as the original. If I have to name a favorite, I would say either "Babylon's Burning" or "Godless Run". The guitar work on the latter is simply stupendous, although in truth, the lead guitar work for the whole album is some of the best I've heard in a long time! | |
