I posted this on CMR but thought folks here may appreciate as well.
So while I was in Slovakia, I stopped at this sweet music store that focused on heavy metal. The guys working there were super friendly and recommended me tons of Slovak metal. I bought a couple CDs, including Sexit's first album. I think folks here might really dig 'em. They're classic heavy metal a la Maiden or Priest. They're very melodic and pretty up-beat but still have that crunch. They sing in Slovak which I think is really cool (though their newest album they sing in Hungarian which is interesting). This song takes a little while to get going, but once it does, it's a lot of fun! I want to get the rest of their discography. As far as I could tell, their lyrics are fine and not offensive or evil.

Music sounds fantastic....I'm having a little trouble singing along but with repeated listens I'm sure I'll get the hang of it.
In all seriousness this does sound very cool.

Glad you like! I know a lot of folks really don't like music in any language besides English, but I love hearing music in different languages.

I don't mind music in different languages, but only on occasion (sometimes it does sound amazingly better than the same band singing in English). But I do have a tough time sitting through a full length album of it. I really like the few albums I have from Venia and Illuminandi who perform songs in both English and their native tongue.

I don't mind a song or two on an album being in a different language. But, to listen to a full album would just drive me berserk. I like the style of this song, but the foreign language singing ruins it for me.

It's not cool to listen to songs you don't understand. I always like to understand what songs mean, what they tell us. But that Slovakian music really rocks.
