Friday night: Phinehas, For Today, and War of Ages, all together at LifeLight SD (http://lifelight.org/artist). I know some folks don't like this kind of music, but that's alright, because I like it, just as I like opera, folk, progressive, country, and every other style of music. Well ... mostly. "Pop" music has pretty much sucked since the early 90's, when it became more about the sex appear of the artist and less about any real musical ability ... but that's a gripe for another thread.
Anyhow, other bands during the course of the weekend are Remedy Drive, Everfound, Tenth Avenue North, Rend Collective, Veridia, We are Leo, and Saturday's "headliner" Switchfoot. So yea, I'm rather pumped, particularly for Friday night, as it's about the only Christian heavy metal concert SD has had all year, excepting the single performance by TFK at the Hills Alive festival.
Oh, and the other reason I'm not concerned that others may not like the Friday night line up is because while other people like it, ...

I don't think that Nashville has had a Christian metal or hard rock concert in a couple of years. It is a wasteland here even though the CCM scene is located in Nashville.
