| Came across this earlier today... http://www.narniaweb.com/2015/06/silver-chair-script-is-complete/ Screenwriter David Magee tweeted the exciting news about The Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair… - Quote :
- “Completed the final draft of The Silver Chair today. I’ve had the immense pleasure to work on the project for over a year now. So fulfilling.”
David tweeted the news privately last week, but we confirmed with him today that the screenshot below is legitimate. Follow him on Twitter @mageedavid_. By “final draft,” David might simply be referring to his involvement with the screenplay. Additional writers might be brought in to contribute. But, for fans who have been discouraged about the news drought, this should be an exciting confirmation that the wheels are indeed turning. The next step for The Mark Gordon Company will probably be finding a distributor/co-financier. There is still no release date for the film at this time.

| I had hoped that they would continue this series. I like it better than Lord Of The Rings. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

Agreed. LOTR is a great series, but the movies tended to drag, especially the "sad Frodo" scenes. The Hobbit was even worse; that should never have been three movies. So far, though, the Chronicles movies have been very well done, with solid production, excellent CGI for the "animal" people, and very good acting by the "people" people.

| I really loved the first one. Prince Caspian wasn't bad, and there was some stuff added that I thought wasn't needed. Voyage of the Dawn Treader let me down tho. Especially when they brought the White Witch back AGAIN!
That being said, I love the LOTR over the Narnia series. The Hobbit is a bit too much tho.

| The Lord Of The Rings was excellent. All three of those are in my top ten films of all time. When Tolkien wrote the original he split each of the three books in to two parts (I believe) and I thought that they should have made six movies rather than three. So when they announced that The Hobbit was going to be made in to three movies I was really excited.
Unfortunately with each new Hobbit movie it felt like they were just over stretching it, and although I will get the extended Hobbit part 3 I really think they should have just done it as one or at most two movies. Definitely films two and three seem like just one big fight and not a lot of concrete dialogue. It was a bit of a shame really.
Maybe they should have done 1 Hobbit movie and 6 LOTR's movies. That would have at least fitted better with the amount of material available. _________________ My Christian Metal Website......... Silence Is Madness
