I don't know how many here are into Christian hip hop, but check this guy out. I'm not a die-hard Christian hip hop fan myself, but do listen to it from time to time. This guy's song "I'll Keep On" has been getting a ton of airplay on Air1, but as is the case with many artists, there's so much more to him than what you hear on the radio. Loads of talent here...



And a less serious song but still very catchy (more along the lines of Manafest and some TFK stuff maybe):

And this one is great. Sorry for the video, it is quite silly and seems to be made by a fan. It is not D-Boy in the video. Check it out around the 1 minute mark, pretty cool sample in a Christian song.

It's not hip hop. It's rap. Rap is a style of music. Hip hop is a sub-culture. Hip hop consists of rapping, beatboxing, pop locking, break dancing, etc. The reason why so many people incorrectly refer to the music as "hip hop" is the same reason why so many people incorrectly refer to people who crack into computer systems as "hackers": the Media. Hackers are the good guys hired to prevent people from cracking systems. Crackers are the bad guys who attempt to crack systems. People get too much of their world view and misunderstandings of life from TV and the media. Repeat a lie loud enough, long enough, and often enough and people will eventually believe it. Just look at the content of modern TV shows and movies with the number of lies being forced on the public, and then look at the corrupt descent of our society into madness and chaos, having no sweet clue of right and wrong, truth and error, being governed by their emotions. It's Ninevah all over again. And Sodom and Gomorrah. I hate to see what America is going to look like in 5 years considering the depravity of it today.
