| Excellent show. Thank you. (Finally caught your show ) My daughter was air-guitaring to TSO (she knows that song well, did a good job on the solo parts, lol). Anyway, was listening to it while watching the BCS show (college Football, GO BUCKS) and Sun night Football (no need to listen there).....Anyway, Fantastic show. Looking forward to the "playlist". | |

I was digging it a bit too much as that's why there was a couple seconds of dead air when it ended. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| Thanks for the list. I will be looking these songs up on some of the sites that I purchase downloads from. - Quote :

I'd be interested in knowing how many you can find. It took me quite a while to acquire the CDs I have. Most of the Christmas CDs I've actually had to buy. I'd guess I've bought more Christmas CDs than non-Christmas even. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

Well, at a quick glance...out of the 31 songs, I already have 2, I found 4 right away where I usually download...Guitar Nine had some more, but I don't use I Tunes, ...but you were right, these appear to be on albums mostly. Anyway, the list gives me an interesting musical trail to follow .

That song is hilarious. I always find it odd when people mention Bob Rivers' name outside of my home state. Bob has been a local rock dee-jay for many years (in Seattle). He has his own home studio, and he has been recording those parody song albums for years. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Bob gets airplay all over the country around this time. I don't know if he still does, but at one time he had a record deal for distribution through Atlantic Records. That's how I first heard of him. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

Interesting you should say that. I remember him telling his listeners at one point that his "Twisted Tunes" got a lot of radio airplay, but that he never really made any money at the venture. I get the feeling he considers it a "labour of love". _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

VERY FEW and then mostly on Ebay. There are about 55 individual songs I have. Are any of the other songs off Rivers' Twisted Christmas CD any good? That's the only one I've ever I heard and being a BS fan I have to like it. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

But he has a huge audio vault online with many of the twisted tunes he has recorded. You can check out the "vault" at this link. http://www.bobrivers.com/audiovault/tunes/ And the Christmas tunes are here http://www.bobrivers.com/audiovault/tunes/xmastunes.asp You can listen, or download (for a fee) all of the songs listed. Some of the tunes can get a little "racey" but most of them should be fairly clean. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

I'd say half were clean, but I found 7 more. Well it has been a few years since I have even heard one of his twisted tunes. I was glad you were able to find a couple you could use. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Topshot, don't tell me you are a Christmasfan now. The fact you only buy Chrismas CDs makes me worried about you. Or is it very rockin' Christmas music you are playing.
I think I wait to listen to your show again after Christmas.

I think I wait to listen to your show again after Christmas. I've always loved Christmas music and have always played hard Christmas music during my shows leading up to Christmas. I have enough now I can easily do 4 weeks of only hard Christmas music. I just learned of a few more CDs I don't have, too. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."
