I prefer the RR version, which they redid on MBP

I actually prefer the sappy, mellow version. The RR demo and remake for MBP would go good on nachos.

That's me too, I'm just not a big fan of the song in general.

I like the newer version. The old one is tired and fired!

No, no, y'all are stupid and wrong The best version is the one I heard live back in '86.
And Petra is a better/more influential band than Stryper will ever be and P.O.D. is not really a Christian band and Roger Martinez was never really saved and Tourniquet should have changed their name after Guy Ritter left and Deliverance is the best band EVER and Bloodgood should apologize for "All Stand Together" and Theocracy is "flower metal" and Saviour Machine will never finish "Legend III" and Scott Wenzel needs a haircut and Ultimatum has the best album cover artwork OF ALL TIME and Tim Lambesis should have gotten the death penalty by being forced to listen to Amy Grant's "Heart In Motion" album at full volume until he shoved taxpayer-supplied ice picks through his own eardrums.
Oh, wait, I'm sorry - I forgot this is not the Christian Metal Realm.
Carry on.

After going back and REALLY listening, I must go back and slightly change my answer.
The old one as is is tired and fired. The lyrics best fit the music to the sappy ballad, though.
The music on Murder By Pride absolutely rocks, but the lyrics don't really fit the mood of the music. They should have rewritten the lyrics and kept the music.
