Part of me would like to go, as I am a huge Styx fan. But I've never gotten into Tesla, and I only have a couple of DL CDs.

No I have not. They were at our state fair once, and I was at the fair while they were playing, so I could hear them. But that's the closest I've gotten.
I still might go to this ... it'll depend on what the tix cost. They go on sale in a couple of weeks.

I have seen Styx about 9 or 10 times since 1991. I suggest you see them you will not be disappointed. Personally, I have skipped the last 2 concerts thru here but only because they haven't really changed up the set list since 1999 or so and play the main core songs. Dennis is no longer with them and Gowan (his replacement) is an excellent musician although his voice sounds nothing like Dennis. They put on a good show and if you like what you hear on the radio then you should go. Personally, I like the deeper cuts. I own every Styx album and they have been my favorite band since 1981.

Oh and Tesla puts on a great show. I love their stuff but I only have a few albums. Mechanical Resonance is my favorite by them and one of my favorite albums from the 80's. They also did a couple of covers albums called Reel 2 Reel and those are good too. They still put on a good show. Here is a song you WON'T hear (Jeff released a traditional country album).

Well, I pulled the trigger on this. It'll be fun I'm sure, although I'd rather go to a Stryper concert!
