It sounds amazing as usual! I might wait until we get it in the USA. I want to see if the Japanese version gets the bonus track as they normally do. If they have one, then I will probably get it.

Sounds great, although I not that keen on all this 'bonus' track stuff. Why can't everyone have all the songs? just seems a bit unfair.
Still, the music rocks, which is good!

I read that in Japan CD's cost a lot more than in the US and that is why most bands give them a bonus track or two...to make it a better value for the Japanese buyer...

Yeppers the peppers, finally a new album of Impellitteri. I'll go for the European release.

I'm really looking forward to this one! I think the samples sounds great.
The funny thing is that this time, it's Europe and North America that gets the bonus tracks. The Japanese release was more than a month earlier, so I think that's why. But still!
I must say that I'm glad that the bonus tracks are added, because the album was really short without them, and still are in a way.. but anyway, can't wait!

That'll be awesome if true. It looks like it based on the Amazon.com track listing, but that's all preliminary until it's actually released here. I never believe what they list until I have the proof in my hand.

Yeah it's true, you never know. But I have some insight in this case, so I can let you know that it's true. And the two extra songs are no fillers. They are awesome.

The only vinyl, or the only Impellitteri?

Yeah, I have been eyeing this and the WHITE vinyl is only $22.00. However, I have no idea where this ships from and don't know what shipping will cost. I visited the website and I did not see a way to even add the item to a shopping cart. I could view it and see it was $22 but couldn't do anything else.

There's an "Add to cart" button just below the dropdown that allows you to select white, black, or both. if you can't see that button you should try a different browser, or if you are using IE turn on compatibility mode.
Shipping is $10. I added one to cart and started the checkout process to see. I'm tempted, but I won't be doing it; I'm more into nostalgic vinyl.

Interesting, but I am just not sure. Would love to have it but it is hard to justify getting it on vinyl. The only "new" release I am looking forward to is coming in April and that's Rush - Farewell To Kings. I have never owned that in ANY format so I want to pick it up on vinyl. As for Venom, I want it and I am very tempted in a limited pressing of vinyl but I am gonna pass for now.

I agree with the article concerning the drummer. Wow!

I'm sure I will probably get it, but I would much rather see a new Rob Rock solo album. Impellitteri is an amazing guitarist but just a little too over the top for me to take sometimes. The drumming in that song is rather amazing.

I agree about the Rob Rock solo work. Chris is about speed; all his riffs are zip zip zip. I like all of his work but listening for too long tends to leave me out of breath.

Agreed, it's ok for a song or three on an album, but when 7 out of ten of them are him showing how fast he can fret (which is pretty darned impressive), I tend to get lost in the song (and not in a good way).

After seeing that video, I am definitely getting this! Yes, this left me out of breath! But, it has been a long time since something totally blew me away! That was freakishly amazing. The bass and drums are tight and intense. The shredding is world class virtuosity at its finest. Rob Rock delivers powerful vocals that prove that intense music need not be belching or dog barking or pig squealing to match the intensity of the music. Rob shows that one can sing and sing well and it works with intense music. All these metalcore and black metal bands need to take lessons from Rob and learn how to sing. Period.
