I paid a cool 20 bucks for Eden's CD... it's by far one of my absolute favs ! I've seen it as low as 15 and as high as 50, so 20 wasn't too bad, though I like better deals than that... sometime you gotta drop it if you want it.
And yes, I would include Eden's album in my top 50 list fo sho.

Back to the topic at hand, I still disagree with not including Eden (so what if the original is rare - you didn't call it the Top 50 Readily Available Christian Metal Albums of the 90s.

Thanks for the input regarding Eden.  Initially, it was my plan to include Eden as part of any list I compile of the best turn of the century albums (my thought being since it had been re-issued twice it was much easier to find).  However, the point both of you are making makes a great deal of sense.  As a result, I revised the list to include Eden, tied at number 25 (with King James).  Following is the link to the revised article: http://www.angelicwarlord.com/articles/topalbumsofthenineties.html

Also, I never was able to get into PK Mitchell.  Perhaps I need to revisit AHTP.

Keep the suggestions coming- I am committed to getting the list correct as much as possible.

Sadly I have to agree with you.  What bone-head move.

What the Seahawks should have done is roll Russell Wilson out and advise him if nobody is open, then either throw the ball away or attempt to run into the end zone himself.  If he throws the ball away, the Seahawks can still attempt a running play with Marshawn Lynch.  If that does not work, they call their final time out and still have fourth down.

I have also been hearing about some bizarre conspiracy theories that are based upon the Seahawks passing the ball on second down instead of running is that they did not want Marshawn Lynch, who is not exactly known for being savvy with the media, to win the Super Bowl MVP.  Please note that this is NOT my opinion but rather the opinion some are offering (which of course is being denied by Pete Carroll and the Seahawks).

One final thought in regards to the Super Bowl: I am somewhat reminded of the 'Miracle On Ice' from the 1980 Olympics in that perhaps the Patriots (similar to their US ice hockey counterparts) wanted the victory just a little bit more than their more talented opponents from Seattle (or Soviet Union from back in the day).

And here is one more observation: I am also reminded of game 5 of the 1987 NBA Eastern Conferences Finals between the Detroit Pistons and Boston Celtics.  Detroit had the game virtually won in the final seconds only to have Isaiah Thomas inadvertently throw a bad inbound pass which was stolen by Larry Bird, who dished the ball to Dennis Johnson for the winning basket.

Sound familiar?

Russell Wilson had the same shocked look on his face as Isaiah Thomas after throwing the same type of inadvertent pass of his own.

But mark my words: The Seahawks, similar to Detroit who followed up their debacle again Boston with three straight NBA finals appearances and back to back championships, will be back with a vengeance.  I see the agony of this loss only serving to motivate Seattle in the long run...

I agree.

Good list!  I would like to see Narnia's "Awakening" and/or "Long Live The King".  They came near the end of the 1990s but represent some of the best neo-classical metal around, Christian or otherwise.

Thanks!

Neal_Morse_Fan, welcome to CHM.  I have never warmed up to Narnia's 90's material. I did not start to get into Narnia until following the turn of the century.  Right now I have planned a turn of the century list (2000-2009) in which albums such as Desert Land, The Great Fall and Enter The Gate will rank quite highly.

Nice!  Yeah, Awakening is easily their most lightweight album, but "Long Live The King" (released 1999) stacks up to the other Narnias pretty well and certainly is at least as good as the Tamplins and 20/20 Blind, etc.
