| Have we done this?
What group when on hiatus for awhile and came back strong? My pick is Sacred Warrior who came back with an album I like better then the originals.

| Guardian. I know others don't like it, but Almost Home is an amazing album. | |

| Sacred Warrior were indeed great, however Bloodgood slightly topped that for me. Then there's Saint with In The Battle, that was a stonking album. _________________ My Christian Metal Website......... Silence Is Madness

| Yeah, gotta agree with Bloodgood and Saint. In The Battle was a return to form after the disappointing Perfect Life. | |

| Saint for sure!
If Stryper had not done "Reborn" or had done it with solos, that would be my pick as I love the albums they have done since.
Bloodgood would probably follow Saint as my number 2 pick.
Guardian's album should not have been released. Yuck! It shows a band that has gotten older and is no longer really able to bring the rock like they once could. The other bands listed here (Saint, Bloodgood, Stryper, Sacred Warrior) have all shown that they could bring every bit as much energy back to the table as they could in their younger days. Saint is able to say that brought that energy and then increased it. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

Agreed, my first pick was going to be Bloodgood followed closely by Saint. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| A lot of good choices- Stryper, Bloodgood, Saint, Deliverance. So it is difficult to pinpoint just one. | |

| You guys forgot about The Perfect Life, otherwise Saint would get my vote. I was never a big Bloodgood fan due to the vox but I can see where they would be considered. Was Deliverance ever gone? | |

| My votes are:
Antestor - The Forsaken Seventh Angel - The Dust Of Years Virgin Black - Requiem Pianissimo (I know, I know... it's not out yet and it probably never will be... BUT if it does, it'll be the comeback album of the decade!)

Was Deliverance ever gone? For the most part, Deliverance was gone. Remember that their FIRST comeback in 2001 was "Assimulation" after a 6 year hiatus. After that album, it would be anther 6 years (2007) before there would be another comeback album with "As Above...So Below". Fast-forward another six years until we got "Hear What I Say!". So, if you go by how long between albums, I guess you could say that all three were comeback albums. Wait! Did you notice that Deliverance waited 6 years for "Assimulation", another 6 years for "As Above...So Below, and a third 6 years for "Hear What I Say!"? Three sixes! It's 666!!! Deliverance is in the Illuminati!!! Get Alex Jones on the phone!!!!

I am always right. I am The Oracle. I don't mind "Assimulation". I like the songs--it is the drum machine I don't care for. I don't even mind the techno tones in the music. If the drums were more human with fills and such, I think that a lot more people would have received this better. Since, the Big D is now Done, I guess we'll never know.

| Bloodgood's newest one proves their ability to come back even better than before. I love their new album perhaps a bit more than their early works. | |

| I hear a bit of a difference from early Les compared to his new vocal abilities... but I kinda dig it. | |

His voice used to bother me, back in the day, but 20+ years later he can still bring it. I think he sounds better than he ever has.
