Subject: The BEST ebay win EVER "The Sequel" Thu Dec 11, 2014 10:54 pm
I previously posted the 40+ CD score that I won for only 4 bucks.... however, I just topped that one !!!
I don't know why no one else bid on this, but I just won over 200 CDs for 30 bucks !!!!!!!!!!!!!
He didn't list the albums, but from the description and the pix he posted, there are tons of Christian titles. If anything, I could sell 15 to 20 of the ones I don't want or already have, make back my 30 bucks, and have over 180+ albums for FREE !
This is his initial post:
Includes the complete U2 collection, some Shawn Mullens, some Michael W. Smith, Sublime, Aerosmith, Miles Davis, Celtic Women, Garth Brooks Steve Miller Band, CCR Tom Petty, Audio Adrenaline, old Newsboys and many many more. Coolio, Alanis Morset, Counting Crows, Cake, Bare Naked Ladies, Sublime, Supertones, Skillet, Ghoti Hook, Johnny Cash, John Mellencsmp, Bruce Springstine. The list goes on......Cat Stevens (early) Pink Floyd Most music from 1985 to 2005
So I'm looking forward to this HUGE grab-bag of goodies to go through when it arrives. I'm at a point now where I need to NOT rummage through ebay posts from now on.... I keep finding these incredible give-away deals - but with all the albums showing up at my doorstep as of late, my wife is gonna ask me what happened to my statement that I was going to call it quits on collecting and just listen to my music now....

Nice haul!
I am working, albeit slowly, of getting a list together of CDs that just need to leave my house. I will try trading them, selling them individually, and may even give some away. If I can't do any of that, I may do one of these "giveaway" deals on eBay myself.

Doubt very much I will want "Sublime" - however, I'm a huge Petty fan, and Cash goes without saying... Not loving Johnny Cash is Un-American !

Another sale where it has to have cost the guy in shipping more than he got from you!

That's OK, he probably stole the CDs anyways
But seriously, I'd be interested in the Miles Davis CDs

My last score of 40+ cds for 4 bucks yielded almost 30 that I actually wanted to keep. Hopefully this 200+ lot will yield quite a few I want to keep - other than albums like "Chumbawumba" and "Green Day"... junk like that will go in the "Trade/yard sale" pile.

Guess I may recognize it if I hear it, but I'm not familiar with a Chumbawumba

Sorry ! My music recognition involves mainstream bands prior to my coming to faith in '89, and ALL Christian bands old and new. I only know about occasional mainstream bands here and there... and Chumbawumba is not one of them

I think it was one of the heavier looking Ewoks in ROTJ.

Count yourself lucky and just throw the disc away without listening to it.

Ahhh yes ! I have indeed heard that one... not sure where, but it's got a unique sound you don't forget. It is a pretty cool song.
