Merry Christmas Free Compilation

I've been working on a Christmas music compilation for my wife for the last 2 months. Finished it and gave it to her, she's been listening to it this week at work.  She loves it so much that I thought I'd share it with anyone interested.

For those of you who are tired of the same Christmas songs year after year, I created 

"A NON-Traditional Christmas"

I rummaged through over 300+ Christmas albums and sifted through all the typical traditional songs, deleted the annoying songs, and finally came up with 60 Modern Christmas songs that are great for Christmas parties, listening at work, or in your car.
(Be warned = Easy listening, Country, Alternative, light Rock with some upbeat and funny songs)

You rockers here at CHM may not care for some of the songs depending on your musical tastes -but download them for your spouses and/or kids, or a sister, or a mother. You can also weed out the ones you don't like and keep a smaller mix for yourself. 

Each file has 20 songs zipped and requires an unzipping program like the free WinRAR.

Yay ! Glad someone else is enjoying this. It was a lot of work. I tailored it for my wife and her likes, but it came out so good, I wanted others (who are sick of the same old songs every year) to enjoy it too.

Bunch of Believers!!!!

I am downloading now!  I don't mind other types and styles of music at Christmas.  I am familiar with a few of the songs on this compilation disc already, but this is a cool collection to have so I don't have to buy a bunch of CDs of every one of these artists to get this handful.

I do think it is missing one, however.  "Where Are You Christmas?" by either Cindy Lou Who or Faith Hill should be here.  It is an amazing song that kind of shows how that Christmas feeling leaves you with time and you'd like to feel it again.  I feel that way every year.

^ Oh yeeeahhh !! SNOWBALL FIGHT !!! Fun stuff there man ! I also put some other fun ones like James Brown doing his Christmas thang. Also love that All Star United song "I wish it could be Christmas every day" - probably the most upbeat happy NON-traditional song for the season. (Also, if you put headphones on, you can hear someone making occasional funny comments in the background. Like when he sings something about "frosticles appearing" someone says "What are frosticles ?" - pretty funny). Christmas At The Trailer Park is pretty silly too.

I actually have that song, and love it... but Lisa doesn't care for it much (surprisingly, as she likes Faith Hill), so I left it off. 
We also have a very similar 3 CD compilation mix of NON-Traditionals I made about 10 years ago. Lot of good songs on that one too - but since we've listened to that one every year, those songs have become somewhat "old"... but I bet many here would dig several of those songs. I can create a listing and post it and if anyone's interested, I'll upload those CDs as well.

This was NON-Traditional Christmas Mix that I made about 10 years ago for my wife and shared it with a lot of family and friends. But now many of these songs have become "Traditional" and over-played every year, thus the reason for the new Compilation this year.
