| Whaddup DF ? To answer you question - OH YEEEAHH !! We're gonna have 21 people this year Out house is a little less than 1500 square feet... should be interesting ! I have plans of playing a couple stand-ups by Tim Hawkins (the funniest dude in Christian comics, up there with Mark Lowry... maybe even funnier) Should be a fun time. What about everyone else ? What plans ya got ? | |

| Just visiting the in-laws and my dad's house (mom is going to be out of state with her husband).
Great choice on the Tim Hawkins - I've seen a lot of his stand-up... VERY funny stuff! He makes pretty funny Facebook posts too.
I'm actually a pescatarian so no turkey coma for me... but I'm looking forward to all the other stuff!

| Eat too much on turkey day? Come on now, NO ONE does that!
I was going to work the Holiday then the boss said "No, don't come in, no need to" which means "why would I want to pay you double time and a half for working a holiday?". So I'll be off but return Friday and Saturday to make up for that lost overtime pay!

| Welcome Deepfriar! I post as Gandalf the White at CMR... you know me.
Anyway, I try every year to not eat too much but I ususally do anyway. I love Thanksgiving. Turkey, dressing, potatoes (both mashed and sweet), green bean casserole... Oh crap! I drooled on my keyboard!

| Welcome DF, I will most certainly eat too much turkey. Let me ask you a serious question. Are you going to deep-fry your turkey? _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Welcome dude! Good to see you here. My mom is going to be trying some turkey/stuffing stew thing; should be good. This evening I'm gonna fill a couple of growlers of beer for tomorrow. But while I may eat and drink many a calorie, my family is going on a big hike tomorrow so it should about even out. | |

Kind of glad I couldn't visit Jim a couple years ago. Sounds like you can "check out" any time you like but you can never leave. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| I don't think I will even get turkey tomorrow.
We're gonna have breakfast with my wife's mom tomorrow and head over to my brother's house in the afternoon. Neither of us have much family left, so it isn't hard to get together with everyone. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| Thanks guys! Thanksgiving was awesome... since I don't eat turkey, my father-in-law made me pan-fried trout! Wow, pretty amazing... very tender, slides right off the endoskeleton. | |
