| Hi,
I had a reader write in to Angelic Warlord recommending Christian bands that sound like those listed above- Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat, Nine Inch Nails and Pearl Jam.
Most of those I am not familiar with so I was hoping others here could recommend some bands.
Thanks,
Andy | |

| Not familiar with FFDP or Volbeat, but I have to confess I haven't heard a Christian band that sounds much like Pearl Jam. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| For Pearl Jam... Plankeye, maybe? Sometime Sunday might satisfy as well as Tragedy Ann, although both of those bands have more aggressive vocals.
For NIN... Chatterbox, Mortal (early especially) and maybe Deitiphobia's later work. | |

| I have heard of 5FDP and Volbeat. Basically they are both in the Hard Rock/Metal category. So take your pick from bands like Disciple, Spoken, etc. | |

| 5FDP also has some metalcore leanings, so maybe some of the bands that are moving toward more use of clean vocals (like Demon Hunter) might also satisfy.

| I have heard of these bands but never really listened to any of them. I'd have to do a crap load of research to help this time. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| Maybe something like Forevertree (the older at least as I haven't heard the followup they recently did) or Torn (who did the single Drowning). _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| Good call topshot. The newer Forevertree would also be good, they do have a modern aggressive kind of post-grunge sound.
