This or That: Same actor movie edition

Yeah that one's ok... but much different than anything else he's done. I enjoyed that one, though it's not a movie I've had any yearning to watch over and over. His first four movies are my favorites. His newest, The Grand Budapest Hotel, is also very good though has some darker/more sinister elements that haven't really appeared in his past works. So I would recommend that one for perhaps the more dedicated fans. The Darjeeling Limited is a very well done one too, though I suggest seeing that one only if you like some of his other past movies.

Eh it was ok... A little to formulaic indie/comedy/drama IMO. I find it interesting how the indie films were the non-mainstream option though are now a-dime-a-dozen themselves. Wes Anderson (one of my favorite directors) popularized these and then flicks like Juno (also a good movie) really brought them into the mainstream.

Kind of like how "alternative rock" became the mainstream rock sound.
