I played that album until the the tape broke. Then I tried to repair it with scotch tape.

I have gotten it to work successfully twice. The tape shouldn't be any wider than the original magnetic tape. It will leave a :dead-spot" in the music though (the head won't be able to read the music through the tape).

Yep, that's what happened. I had a dead spot in the title track during the bass solo, which I'm sure would drive our Canadian brother crazy.

Last I heard, he was supposed to be working on a project called Blues Metal Trance, which should be inspired by those three styles. I think he's been going through some medical issues and some heavy work lately, though.
