The Concert YOU Missed !

You are granted ONE concert by a time traveling gnome (gnome ??... anyways..)
This little guys says he is the "keeper of all concerts throughout all time" and can send you BACK in time to ANY one concert that you missed or were too young to see. You get to arrive early and leave late, experiencing the entire concert AND meeting the band with a backstage pass.

The gnome must know 3 things: Which band, which tour, which year ?

I personally would LOVE to go back to 1991 on THE BOTTOM LINE tour and see CrystavoX in concert and hang with them afterwards.

A close second, honorable mention would be Crossection from the same time, but on their "Breaking Ground" Tour.

I could think of several more obviously, but if I had to narrow it to one, Crystavox would be the band for me.

Not sure I would stick to this answer if I took time to think of it, but I would have loved to seen all three of the "rock days" for the 1983 US Festival.

I think I would rather watch US Festival on Showtime (which I did) rather than being in that huge mob in that heat.

I can't think of any show that I would want to go back and see.

But only 2 people died. (but seriously yes it was pretty bad from what I heard)

There were several that were taken out of the crowd just by the stage.

The sea of people was amazing!

The first concert that I missed that I know of is Stryper/THWTD tour/1988. Would the gnome also need to know the venue site?

Here's one. We went to Jesus Northwest way back when and on the second day all these people showed up with Barren Cross shirts on. Seemed they'd played about an hour outside of Portland the night before and I hadn't heard about it.

That's a possibility.  I didn't stay for the whole show.  I wasn't feeling well so I went back to our camp.  We could very well have been by each other.  Crazy, eh?  Our group was in the big blue bus that was headed for Mexico.

Another concert I wouldn't mind going back in time and experiencing in person would be Woodstock August 15-18, 1969. Aside from the deadheads druggin' out and the streakers, I would want to be about 600 yards from the stage.. and just take it all in for 4 days.

There are way too many to mention, but I never made it to see Ozzy until after long after Randy Rhoads died so I would have loved to have seen one of the Diary of a Madman shows.
