| ^ OMG ! That is EXACTLY what I'm talking about !!! Makes you want to contact them somehow and scream FIX YOUR WEBSITE NOW!!!!!! I have another one I hate about websites- in particular, search engines... You search out a band or whatever, and the description says some good stuff - so you're all excited to click the link and get to the site only to find it's gone ! No site there at all, or sometimes you get a totally different site that took over that domain a long time ago Grrrrrrrr !! | |

| Not really a website issue, but I really dislike it when a band promotes themselves and they don't have anyway to listen to any of their music. Not even talking about bands without albums for sale, but bands that don't even have any music for you to hear (no reverbnation, no facebook player, no youtube vids). I instantly forget about them.
I also hate it when you type in a domain name/address and looks like the site exists but you get one of those "the domain is not registered..would you like to purchase it?" pages. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I agree with both. If you're not going to keep up the website take it down or if there is no such website I don't want to be tricked. | |

| Oh and Quiet Riot's website is pretty lame. They can't even keep a singer more than 2 weeks at a time. Not much on the site either, in "videos" there is a video of Frankie Banali talking about the Tsunami in Japan. It's great that he's for helping them out but why are there no QR videos? The sounds samples are from the first album and feature a line-up that no longer exists (which reminds me, he's the drummer and the only classic line-up member).
As for the Slaughter site, I think it has looked like that since 2006! I'm surprised they just didn't let the domain expire why keep renewing it if you aren't going to use it? | |

| I hate when porn sites have addresses that are really close to sites I want to visit. I remember one time back in the 90s I was going to find the text of a Presidential speech at the White House site. I wasn't thinking it would be whitehouse.gov and typed either .com or .org instead...which would have been funnier if I wasn't at work at the time and didn't have explain my mistake to my supervisor. | |

| My first experience with a mistaken "porn" visit was when the internet was fairly new in our house. My son was about 8 or 9 and had to do a project essay thing on "cats"... Doing searches for "cats" led us to a site that I thought would have some good info on cats and lions, but as the very slow dial up page loaded line by line from top to bottom, it only had to get so far down before I was covering my son's eyes and trying to click out of that site as fast as I could ! Guess we found something about different kinds of "cats" --- Ahhh, good times... | |

| I remember when I finally started experimenting with the internet back in 1999 at the public library. Back then, I knew absolutely nothing about computers, and I decided I wanted to check some websites of established bands. So, I typed in scorpions dot com and it went straight to a porn site. Yikes!! | |

| Yeh, you had to be REAL careful back then... today, it's pretty obvious unless you get Adware/Spyware or some other virus that's porno centered. Luckily for me, any Adware I ever got (back in the early days once again) was just a zillion pop ups to get me to buy stupid stuff. | |

| On a related note, this website has hundreds upon hundreds of stories of freelancers (mostly web designers) who have brickheaded clients. Some of the stories have to do with terrible websites.

| I know it's not the website's fault, but one thing that drives me nuts is when the browser loads a page all jacked up, I've gotten to the point when that happens now, I just close whatever browser I'm using, open a different one and use it. Almost always solves the problem. | |

| I had that "porn site" problem at work once. I was looking for a steel stud accessory supplier by the name of "Superstud". Got all kinds of bad stuff googling that one. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."
