One Hit From Home - a bit cheesier than other PureFlix films. Story itself was good, but too formulaic and acting was so-so.

That seems to be the standard with most PureFlix films doesn't it?

Took my son to see The Scorch Trials yesterday (second installment of The Maze Runner). I wasn't expecting much, but I ended up liking it better than the first. I think that it helped that some small parts were played by a few of my favorite actors Allan Tudyk and Barry Pepper.

It was good enough to watch twice (I only ask because I haven't seen it...coworker said it was a bit of a trip).

I don't want to speak for topshot but yes! Interstellar is so good. We rented it with some friends and then rented it again 3 weekends later. I plan on buying a copy when the price goes down - and this is rare. We have Netflix and Hulu and I rarely buy DVD's.

I'm not THAT big of a fan. It was well done but it's not something I would or could watch over and over like I can Lord of the Rings. Pace and action are too slow and it makes you think too much (for my feeble brain at least). I saw it in theaters last Nov and my son suggested it when we had to pick a second movie and I was perfectly fine with seeing it again. You should definitely check it out.

I have ordered it from my local library, will report back in after I see it, thanks.
Finally watched "Into the Woods". I am not at all a fan of musicals but this one was actually done really well, and it didn't take itself too seriously (which was nice)...my only complaint might have been that it was a bit too long for the story line. Seems like they could have easily cut 20 minutes from it without losing any of the flavor of the story...seem to really drag during the second half.

^How is it. The original Tremors was one of my favorite movies as a kid. I think I've only ever seen the first two though. There's a TV show as well that I'd be interested in watching...

I really liked the original Temors as well. I think I tried to watch the 2nd or 3rd one (don't remember which) and never bothered to finish it.

It was really good. The creatures don't look like they do from the other movies as this is apparently an offshoot that evolved a little differently. The CGI is a lot better than the past efforts. Story wise ,there is more to it than just trying to survive the creatures. You would probably love what Burt goes thru concerning his guns. Personally ,I loved it. I was so into it afterwards that I had to pull out the other 4 and watch them again.
