What a trip. If you're overly sensitive about people speaking about evolution as fact, you will not like this movie. If you can overlook that and see it for it's entertainment value... you will dig it. It is pretty weird though.

Started a new (to us) series called "ALPHAS" - guess there's only 2 seasons. Seems pretty good, but it only lasted one year, so we'll see.

I watched Coherence this weekend. Pretty trippy flick, but I really enjoyed it. I would recommend it. It's got some language and brief violence. A pretty lite R-rating IMO.

Looks like a horror/suspense film trying to pass itself off as Scifi.....not my favorite style.

It's definitely not horror... though it is a fair bit suspenseful. But more in a "what's going on" sense than "someone's trying to get me." The trailer definitely makes it look scarier than it is.

Gotcha, might try to check it out. Did you see Automata? Lot's of nods to Blade Runner in the film but a rather lack-luster ending IMO.

Only if you have some time to kill and won't mind a movie that just doesn't seem to deliver at the end. It is a great premise, and capably acted....just kind of a lack luster ending.

I saw 9 in the theaters and couldn't get into it. Cool visuals but the story/characters were just so boring...

I watched American Sniper a couple nights ago. It was pretty good but not great I thought. It's well done and well acted, but not really anything you haven't seen before. Also, being that the movie is primarily character-driven, it was disappointing to hear just how far they strayed from the true Chris Kyle in the movie. And apparently the whole bad-guy sniper sub-plot (which is pretty pivotal to the entire movie) was basically all made up from what I read. Sigh...
