| I hope they never outlaw cars with drivers. If they did, I would go all "Red Barchetta" with some sports car | |

| Also, any road network with driverless cars should be entirely driverless, so that each car can communicate and flow freely, without fear of some human driver messing up and not being able to compensate. On the other hand, that would put an end to speeding | |

| I may sound like a grumpy, old fuddy duddy, but where does it end? When I was growing up, I used to think that all the new technologies that were being developed would be useful to our benefit. 25 years later, I find myself disagreeing with that.
More and more companies are using machines to perform labor, thus cutting the need to pay employees. You see the same stuff at retail and department stores with "self-checkout" lines.
Before I digress, I feel that our society has become so dependent on machines that we have become ignorant to the fact that if technology were to crumble right now, a huge portion of the populace would collapse, simply because they wouldn't know how to function without the help of a computer or smart phone.
OK, I'll end there before I ramble on all night about other things (ironic that I'm griping about this on the INTERNET). | |

| I'm with you Samson. Oh, technology is a tool but it's also a curse. I just read an article how people don't help others in trouble but they do film it. We are allowing our gadgets to run us. | |

| Isaac Asimov (kind of) predicted this would happen. In his book, Prelude to Foundation, he talks about an automated rail system. The person just inputs the destination and the rail takes them there at a high speed, without crashing into another car and with no effort on the rider. | |
