I always love reading your playlists. There are usually 3-4 bands I either have never heard or just don't remember you mentioning.

How is the Stricken track??

Stricken sound surprisingly like Tower of Hundred crossed with Krush. What a Face

They've got some tracks on their myspace. They are somewhere in my friends list.

What are the lyrics of Dedkor like? I'm checking out some of their tunes on MySpace and like what they are doing musically.

I'm also checking out the Stricken stuff. I'll DEFINITELY be getting this! I might be off, but they remind me of Skid Row with some modern influences thrown in. Sounds like I'm going to love the new singer and direction of this band!Hurry up and release this, ROXX!!!

Pass. While they're listed on CD Baby as Christian, which is how I found out about them originally, and I'm sure some memebers are, I don't like the way they go about it. Their credits list "The Man Upstairs" for God and 3 songs have some "bad" words in them, including the one titled "The Man Upstairs", which is one of several tracks that you can see some faith/religion in. I was pretty disappointed because the music is great for the most part.

I'm really surprised you don't like Orr, too.

I'm funny about this kind of music. Usually to really like something this far on the pop side, i have to hear a song that I connect with. Take MercyMe. I heard "I Can Only Imagine" nearly a year before the song really broke for them. I connected with it before everyone thought it was so good. With other artists in this genre (Casting Crowns, Rush Of Fools, Aaron Shust), I have typically heard a song that really grabbed me or I wouldn't have given them the time of day.

With Orr, I just didn't hear anything that grabbed me.

I don't play pop songs on my show. They must not have that song on myspace. Some others I've heard are mellower.
