Ok, ok, ok ... so you got your albums on your computer ?
Do you have Windows 7 or some new version of Apple computer ?

Then do this (I did it, and it's such a cool way to shuffle your music and hear things you haven't heard in a while or even ever !!) =

Go to the music folder with ALL your music and type in a key word. Today's key word for me was the word "One" - after it searches for about a minute it displayed almost 300 songs with the word "One" in the title.... grab them all, drag them to your favorite player and listen to a cool mix of songs with a common thread.

SO COOL !! I just thought of this today and have been listening to a mix of songs with the word ONE in their title and have heard some great songs I haven't heard in eons ! Some I've never heard.

Gonna have to start thinking of tomorrow's key word...

Hmm, I'll be thinking... I think it'd be interesting to export all song titles onto an Excel spreadsheet, concatenate with spaces, sort alphabetically, and find which words appear most frequently. I dunno, could be fun for kicks and giggles.

Indeed! I tried "death" and came up with quite a few haha. Same with "winter." Those are both pretty metal words... "Fall" might be a good one considering this season?

SO cool ! I love this ! I'm gonna try and come up with a new word every work day of October... I am totally loving the song mix I made just with the word "ONE"... it's a better shuffle method than the ones iTunes and WMP does.

I'll have to try "FALL"... I tried "NEXT" for today's mix and I didn't get very many, and the ones I got kinda suck. "Next" is officially NOT a good shuffle word. Laughing

Staybrite: "The" is not in as many titles as you would think. Only 6,521 songs with the word "The" in them. (by comparison, that's out of over 39,700 songs) pale

Babylon eh ? That's an interesting possibility.. Gonna have to check that out. Bet there'd be a lot in the Christian METAL section compared to CCM and rock...
