LOVE the new album. Really really good, especially Half Way Home, This Time, Confess and On My Way To The Sun.
Incidentially, what's your track listings on the album, because mine definitely isn't in this order...

1. This Is How The Story Goes 2. Where Have The Old Days Gone 3. On My Way To the Sun 4. All I Have To Do 5. The Awakening 6. Half The Way Home 7. We All Fall Short 8. Don't Hide Away 9. This Time 10. Confess
I'm pretty certain I downloaded mine from Emusic (or possibly Amazon). My favorite tracks are On My Way To The Sun and This Time. Great album indeed, and I expect in will perform well in my 2013 top ten list.

I downloaded this from Amazon and have the same order of tracks as Staybrite. I would have bought the CD, but all they had showing at that time were imports that were really pricey. If I can find a disc cheap enough, I might eventually get the CD.

It's going to have to wait a while. I will run out of money before I run out of month!

I've always been a Mastedon fan, so I'm curious how the solo stuff of John sounds. Yep listening to music really helps.

So is this more in line with his Mastedon stuff or his lighter solo discs.

To me it seems more like a cross between the two. Not quite as rockin as Mastedon, but not as "adult contemporary" as what I've heard of his earlier solo stuff.

Yes, as staybrite says it's sort of in between, but I find the album incredibly catchy even though it's not metal.
