I'm really only familiar with three songs by Rush ("Freewill", "Spirit of the Radio" and "Tom Sawyer"), but he's not bad. His YouTube channel scares me a bit (covers of Iron Maiden and Journey alongside a song from Phantom of the Opera and a Justin Bieber cover ).

yeah haha, he's quite universal. He's an impressionist, stand up comic, cover band singer and Christian parody singer...
this is his best parody- does as good as Apologetix:

I am wanting to say he is from Canada. I know he was the singer for the Christian metal band Blood n' Fire several years ago.

His YouTube channel says Canada, which more often than not means the province of Ontario. However, I probably don't live anywhere near him because most musicians live in the southern area of the province (at least 4 or 5 hours away).
Oh well, at least I know there's another fellow metalhead in the nation.
What did Blood n Fire sound like?

The Rush track was good... tempo was little fast.... the guitar was a little buried and with a three piece its gotta be there... but the drummer was 're-writing' Neil Pearts drum parts.... no no no.....
