Check Out Third Day's new single "I Need A Miracle"

According to their web site it looks like the new album "Miracle" will be out November 6th.

This is one of my more anticipated albums for the year. I love Third Day and will do my best to get this. I want this more that the new new Flyleaf that releases a week before this album or Disciple's latest the week after.

Does anybody have Mac's new album. It is supposed to be country, but sounds like Third Day to me.

He is playing it Atlanta Saturday night. I am thinking about going.

According to a K-Love commercial, that song was inspired by a fan who had written to them, saying that he was getting ready to kill himself, and changed his mind after hearing a Third Day song on the radio.

I like the SOUND of Mac's solo project, but the lyrics are mostly about having a good time. There's very little spirituality to it. So, even though I like Mac's voice, I am just going to pass.

I may be the only person on the planet that doesn't care for Third Day....just haven't been able to get into them, saw them at Cornerstone just after their first album release.

Decent live band, just not my thing, I guess.

Mac Powell's country album = Booooo. Sorry to be so harsh, but it's just plain awful. Mac needs to stick with what he does best - ROCK !

I listened to the samples and it seem "ok" and like Alldat said it seemed a little "light" on the lyrical side...so I think I'm probably gonna pass on it....but I'm definitely looking forward to getting the new Third Day

After my first listen, Staybrite, save your money. The rock guitars are
pulled so far back in the mix that this just comes off as a generic pop
band with Mac Powell singing. Mac's country album sounds more like
Third Day than the actual band does. What happened????

I used to love Third Day... Guess I burned out on them. Don't worry bassdude, you aren't the only one. Actually, my wife can't stand Mac's voice and doesn't like them either.

Maybe Third Day doesn't "rock noise" anymore they always have played.
Maybe they have chosen for a bit less rock for this album.

Well I've listened to this album twice now and I have to agree (mostly) with what Alldat said. The guitars are pretty much all but absent from this album, even in the more "rockin tunes" (and I use that term loosely), the guitars just seem like an after-thought. This comes across as an adult-comtemporary album not a rock album. Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting a hard rock album from the band....but I at least expected some rock.

I've been a huge fan of the band since their "Come Together" album (2001). Miracle is by far the weakest album in all that time.

My wife finally got to hear this. She loves Mac's voice and the whole Third Day experience. But, upon hearing this, she said that it just sounded flat and unfinished.

This cd must not be as good as you guys say. I am a member of swapacd and put this cd on my wish list. When I did I was like 3rd in line for the cd. Got notice today that I will be getting it. Really only costing me the price of postage so really am not out anything for it.

I don't think anyone was giving this any high accolades. My opinion of it as time has gone on has declined. This is, in my honest opinion, the worst thing Third Day has ever done.

Even though I have bought everything they've put out since their debut, I won't buy anything else of theirs if it is in this vein. Bring the southern ROCK back or retire.
