| I kinda wonder if anyone is thinking "Wow! Such amazing timing. It just happened to be the first one on the page." or whatever. Actually, I've been counting the amount of posts on a page. There are 20 on each. | |

| Pierce !!! One of my favorite characters on ZITS !!! I have all their collections... love that cartoon.
I have a conspiracy story about Jeremy and the whole ZITS universe. I believe they're the teenage version of Calvin and Hobbes, minus Hobbes (you know, since he's a teen now, dolls are too lame) -
Jeremy is Calvin as a teenager ! Reading so many ZITS books, there are connections that only a fanatical C&H fan would get.
that is my theory. | |

| That's cool G/F. I like Zits. I also like hearing a good theory now and then. | |

Without going into great detail, the comparisons of Calvin to Jeremy are quite similar. Obviously it would be Calvin as a teen, therefore he wouldn't be into all the childish things Calvin did or the imagination of an ADD kid. Rather, look at the hairstyles, look at the artwork for that matter... very similar artists. If Jeremy is Calvin: The hair is the same, only longer (cuz he's into metal of course) - as well as his Dad. His Dad looks the same, just a bit older and heavier: His Mom on the other hand, looks quite different. Obviously the 2 who work on Zits didn't want too many similarities. However, with a kid like Calvin, it'd be a miracle if his parents didn't divorce and remarry ! JK !! To me, as an avid comic lover, it was interesting how Watterson called it a day with Calvin in 1995. Then Jeremy appears 2 years later. The timing is pretty close, Calvin first appeared in 1985, and he's approximately 5 to 6 years old, 10 years later he'd be very close to Jeremy's age. coincidence. In both strips, it is speculated as to where they live. But in all Wiki's and other articles, it is agreed that Ohio is the most possible state Calvin lived in... and that is where Jeremy's family resides. There are several other similarities, but I have to actually get back to work. The first day I read a ZITS comic back in the 90s, my first thought was, "this is just Calvin as a teenager". Didn't think much more of it until, over the years, I began seeing other similarities and things I think the artists did on purpose to make that comparison even more stronger. Someday I think I'll do an extensive comparison, since I have every book by each cartoonist.

Not quite. The PIN is a 4-digit code that the user commits to memory. Basically, the user slides the chip into the machine, approves the purchase amount (it'll say something like $15.97 - OK?), types in his/her PIN, and voilà, something is purchased. | |
