| We all know that alldatndensum has his own musical project (with sabidoo) but I was curious if anyone else here was involved in music, whether production, soundcheck, composing or performing. I, for my part, am kinda into it. I've been throwing some ideas around for a while, but can't decide what I want to do exactly. I dunno if I should do extreme metal like a cross between the heavier material of "As Above" (Deliverance) and Mortification and Metallica, or straightforward rock/metal like Bride and Daniel Band and Menchen. Maybe I should do both as separate projects. | |

| I'm interested in working with more than just my own projects. I play bass and guitar. I've done work for Thomas on his Incarnate project. Also, I have been on a couple of Liberty n' Justice projects and should be on their upcoming "Cigar Chronicles". I'd be interested in collaborating with others just for the fun of it. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| If you want. Why not? I'd just have to hear a rought demo to get the song down.

| It would be cool if we could have a CHM band, with all band members being CHM members. what would be even cooler is if I could get Dennis Cameron to participate… he lives only an hour away from me, in Renfrew. | |

| A CHM would be cool. But wah would you do with the CHM band? Starting to record songs and release a CHM CD? Tell us more what your thoughts are about a CHM band DBF. | |

| Well, that would be kinda what I'd like to do. At least record a couple songs together, and even record an album if things go super well. Vonnie, you play guitar, right? Maybe you could be on the album | |

| DBF LOL.
Yes I play guitar, but not to play in a band. I feel honored you remembered me to play in the CHM band, I think there are much better guitarists than I am.

| Even if you didn't play all the songs, it would still be cool to have you as a guest on it. It's up to you | |

| Yeah, Yvonne, you could play rhythm on a song or two... I'm sure you could handle that! And maybe some success would give you more confidence! OK, I'm OFFICIALLY offering my services for editing, mixing, and mastering. And who knows... if we can manage to sound good enough, maybe I'll release the CD under UP! --------- | |

| Oh boy. This should be fun. Who's in it? (I think we'll have songs in different languages to celebrate our diversity here: German, French, and I dunno what else! ) | |

| I think if you do that then you would be killing yourself getting an audience.

| Maybe I have to try it and see how it goes. And play small parts. I've never played in a band, only managed a band for some years. Thomas, maybe you are right And I have to try it to see if I can do the rhythm. I agree with Chris in this and think it has to be songs in English, not in an other language. DBF, are you ever listening to songs in Finnish, or Portugese? | |

| I have played guitar for over 30 years now. I have played bass for close to 20. I can also play some piano but not well enough to play it in a band. i can read and write music and tab. I have taught guitar as well as played in several bands as well as record music in a professional studio. My main axe is a Charvel San Dimas and a Peavey tracer. |

| Yeah, the multi-lingual thing wouldn't go over too well... let's keep it in English.
Hey brokentulsa - who are you? You sound familiar... do I know you? (beside seeing you on this forum, of course)

| So I guess that's a no to different languages. On the other hand, I want to do a Christian classic heavy metal project in French. There's definitely not enough French metal. | |

| I'm not looking for market! As far as I know, there is NO Christian classic metal that is French. I wanna innovate. | |

| You might want to do the French project on your own. If we are going to do a "band", then we all need to have input into this. I think the general consensus is to do an English project. Besides, if you want it in French, you can always record the vocals again and release it that way. Guardian does their albums in English and Spanish.

| I agree with Chris and Thomas in making songs in French.
What's your meaning DBF, to make a CHM band with members of CHM and play in English so all people can understand the lyrics. Or start a band of your own to make a Christian songs in French?

| Well, that's fine if you just want to record some stuff for yourself, and maybe your local area. But if you're not gonna make the music accessible to EVERYONE, then what's the point?
It's like the bands Leviticus and Jerusalem... their English CDs are great, but how many people actually listen to their Swedish CDs? If they had stuck to Swedish only, then their CDs would only have ever been heard in Sweden.
