I like this guy's music.
OK, so it's far from metal, but it's good ole rock that doesn't roll.

I never did really give him a listen. Maybe I should.

Norman's cool.
You should listen to the old 70s song by Randy Stonehill where he gives his testimony. Him and Larry were friends and the lyrics talk about how "I got stoned in Norman's kitchen.." and he sings about how Larry witnessed to him.
Here it is (since it's so incredibly old and out of print, you'd be lucky to find it anywhere) http://www.mediafire.com/?3uxwz7a4k5w212a

It's good for the body and it's great for the soul. Really like Larry Norman. Some of it is a little too 60s hippie for me, but I just roll my eyes and go on.

Love Larry's stuff, although I did find it rather frustrating how each time I bought an album it turned out to have many of the same songs on it as the others. Still the songs he wrote were great, and 'Just Visiting...' is a timeless classic, which I still play quite often.

I like his music and have his Only Visiting This Planet LP. I don't really have a favorite song by him, though I really like the version of "Sweet Sweet Song of Salvation" from the Jesus Sound Explosion album (if you're not familiar with that album, it's a collection of songs recorded live at Explo '72 - I found it at a thrift store years ago...).
