| Very cool, but I hate to say I wish it was a new Audiovision album instead. Still I did like better than half of the first GR album. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I exactly have the same thought about this Staybrite. Golden Resurrection is not bad, but never is Audiovision. | |

I thought the Golden Resurrection album blew doors on the Audiovision disc....
The songwriting just felt stronger to me....

| Audiovision had those bluesy overtones without being a blues album. It had a Whitesnake feel to it in places and made it different than anything else Mr. Rivel had done since Modest Attraction. Those 2 albums are simply awesome.
Golden Resurrection has some great neo-classical metal sounds, but there just are not any big hooks to grab the listener. It's good, but it just doesn't stand out. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| Over the last few years I have just gotten burned out on the European neoclassical/power metal. The excessive double bass drumming and the out-of-control guitar wankery doesn't really appeal to me much anymore. I will admit that much of the double bass drumming is kept to a minimum on the first GR album (wich I why I was able to enjoy some of it). There is no denying the talent (especially with the guitar work), but I can't appreciate it very well when it seems to over power the rest of the music. _________________ "I used to be indecisive..........
