If you like Power Metal check out FG. It is a band from Venezuela but very good shredder work. He has a face book page you can hear a couple of songs. His cd Battle for Souls just dropped today on amazon and itunes ( I know I just cussed) i think. They are worth the time if you like that Power metal. I am buying it.

I'm going to have to ban you if you say iTunes again. Whoops.....I just said iTunes and will have to band myself. Golly jee, Wally, I did it again!
Are the vocals in English or another language?

Thanks Tim.
If you really like Power Metal with great lyrics you might want to try Golden Resurrection. Great lyrics and one amazing guitarist.

I have listened to Golden resurrection, and for some reason I just can't get into them. I like all kinds of music and I do not really stick to one genre. I like progressive, rock, nu-metal, classic metal, thrash, not much into death or screamo. But thanks Brother I appreciate it. Maybe they will grow on me lol

I completely understand, and I am much the same way. I actually completely passed on the band when they firs released the album last year. However, I recently viewed the entire album on youtube, and found I really liked much of it.
But hey, that's what we are here for on this board....we share new music with each other. Sometimes people like it, sometimes people don't. When I recommend something it's usually more the latter.

He's a shredder, and a great vocalist. His Stryper covers are impressive. This is one I'll definitely be watching for.

Listened yesterday to samples of FG. I'm excited about this band. This really is not a "have the same sound as", but a band with own sound. Try to order the CD too.

I received my CD today in the mail. The inserts looked great, but the disc is totally blank. So, now I get to have the fun of trying to get a replacement.

From Tanaki ( I think that's the company he's using to print these). I will send Felipe a message on Facebook. I've already sent one to the company that filled the order.

That must be very weird. You will listen to the CD and it's blank, no cool music on it. Hope you get an other full CD soon.

You can order the FG album on CD Baby too. You can buy the album and pay for the downloads. There are more samples to listen too.

Kunaki (I spelled it wrong to start with) has promised to ship me another and has refunded my money as well. I only wanted another CD.

Blank again? That's really bummer. Now I start to wonder if they really have full CDs. I think I'm going to wait to order this CD till you tell me you have a full CD. Never heard before a band is selling blank CDs.

That's what I was thinking… It might be better to get the downloads and burn a disc.
The only time I've ever dealt with bad CDs is when my copy of First Watch came scratched. I'm getting my replacement in a few days.
