It's hot down south tonight...

Wow, the United States has its share of thunderstorms and tornadoes! What's up in your area?

In Canada… just a lot of rain, scattered thunderclaps (yes, I mean thunderclaps and not thunderstorms).

I'll take tornados over perpetual winter. Besides, while these storms are powerful, the odds of getting killed or have your property destroyed is slim.

Just rainy here in Kentucky. Had some scattered thunderstorms, but that's about it.

yep it's spring in western Washington.

Lately it has been clear and sunny here.

Sunny, warm and windy here in Illinois...but that can change with little to no notice-lol

Not very sunny out, a little windy. Not much rain.

It was 30°C yesterday, and the humidity was even worse than that.

Until you come to the southern USA, don't talk about humidity.

I've been to Texas in March, does that count?

Convert that back to REAL temps, and you have a mild 86 compared to 98 degrees here. With the humidity, the heat index says that it feels like 103 here.

Happens sometimes up here. Shoot, sometimes it hits over 40°C.

It reached 98 in Georgia today also. I'll take 98 over cold weather anyday.

I don't want cold weather, but that's just plain hot. I can handle 80's, but the upper 90's is just sweltering.

How bad are your heat waves? We get over 100°F (look, I converted for you!)

Not really,no. I have been to Texas myself in August and that was a dry heat compared to what we get along the Gulf Coast.

You get temporary spikes in temperatures that high. We will have this from now until late August or maybe September. You'll be having snow by then.

While there may be snow in October (and it's EXTREMELY rare to have snow in September), and even November, it's not permanent until December. It usually melts quickly.

And, when December starts, BRING IT ON!

Snowmobiling is kinda very fun, too bad y'all can't enjoy it more than that. The Northern States can, though.

Sometimes they get around 120°F with 80 to 90 percent humidity. In other words you are walking thru a sauna.

Agreed, even when it is dry (and I mean really dry) I have a hard time tolerating anything over 85
