| We took our youth group to Winterjam 2011 last night. We had a great time introducing our church kids to bands most of them had never heard of. Who played?
Sidewalk Prophets Chris August KJ-52 Francesca Battastelli (I hope that is spelled somewhat right....) Red Newsong Kutless Newsboys
Also, Tony Nolan spoke and preached for about 25 minutes.
All in all, the show was good, but the set list was really short for each band. But, it keeps middle schoolers from getting bored, and gets the kids home early enough to not interfere with school the next morning. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| Now I hope the middle schoolers liked the bands and the sermon of Tony Nolan. Kutless is a very cool band on stage. What was the band that was the most impressive? | |

| For me, it was Kutless. They played mostly from their 2 worship discs, but I was ready for those songs with some teenage drama we had unfolding with our youth group girls.
Red has some great pyrotechnics, but they just sound horrible live. I've seen them 2 times now, and their live sound just sucks. it's so muddy.
The Newboys were cool, too. They always bring a high energy show.

| Maybe Red is doing better as studio band than live on stage. Kutless live is great. | |

| You were up this way or is this one of those traveling festival kind of things? There was a Winterjam in Champaign, IL this weekend I believe. Or maybe it's this coming weekend. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."
