| I use the desktop, laptop, a tablet, and my phone. I still have a landline as AT&T won't let you have internet without home phone service in our area. It sucks, but that's what I live with since they have the cheapest high speed service in the area. They are also much more dependable than our local cable company. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

I'd keep calling since Verizon/Frontier used to be that way but aren't anymore. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| When I switched to AT&T's U-Verse, the digital landline is packaged with it. They don't offer a package without it. The good thing is now that if the home phone rings I know that it is a sales call. Very few people call my house--they call my cell phone.

| Not directly on subject here, but this thread made me think of the lyrics from Tesla's "MP3":
Everything that's known to man Got it right here in the palm of my hand It's all a part of the master plan One push of a button and you'll understand All you get is the information Censoring the situation Oh my God it's taking me From the phonograph record to the MP3 All the world is overrun with Technology Oh my God it seems to me We've gotta get back to Simplicity All the world's out of touch with reality I can't believe Honest values of family Come straight from the heart Like the blood we bleed And Reachin' out to a friend in need Means more than a text from a cell phone screen All these sounds of complication.. In the cloud communication.. Oh my God it's taking me From the phonograph record to the MP3 All the world is overrun with Technology Oh my God it seems to me We gotta get back to Simplicity All the world is outta touch with reality It's plain to see Rewind Now! I Can't believe, MP3 | |
