I ordered this album a while back and just got it today (although it doesn't come out until tomorrow officially). When I first heard this band on their new label, Tooth and Nail, I wasn't a huge fan of it. But after listening to it, I like it a LOT more than I did initially. He has a very unique voice, kind of reminiscent of the new singer for The Wedding. In the video below, he even displays some theatrics in his mannerisms that really match his voice which was a plus for me. A lot of the album has a nice southern rock kind of feel even though the vocals are more towards the hard rock sound. As far as lyrical content, he draws a lot from his past, specifically when his father left him and his mother when he was younger. Even though he shares a lot about his anger towards his father when growing up, he also shows his forgiveness towards his father and how he has given it all to the Lord such as the lyric: "Oh it’s hope that has embraced me/and my God who won’t forsake me/sweet Jesus you're amazing/you save me every single time I fall down." And one thing I know you all will love is the fact that this album has lead guitar written all over it and that there are a ton of guitar solos (a lost and dying art). All in all, this band reminds me A LOT of The Wedding and I think you guys will like them! =)

Here's a pretty good example of their Southern rock element that you can find in a lot of their songs:

For some reason they kind of remind me of Disciple (especially that second song).

Funny you say that. Here is a description from Jesus Freak Hideout on thier review of it:
The band brings a high-energy rock style which sounds like a blend of Disciple, Bride, The Wedding, and High Flight Society
Givin some love to Bride as well.

I finally got around to getting this and must say that I am rather impressed. The vocalist gives this a more original sound than our typical Kutless clone rock scene. Also, even though this is a modern rock band, guitar solos are found in almost every song that should please a lot of metalheads. Overall, this is a great album that I should have gotten sooner.
