| I'm now down to a choice between two for album of the year......
Golden Resurrection - Glory To My King and Disciple - Horseshoes and Handgrenades
Both are great albums, GR is better musically and the title track and Holy Cross are superb songs, but H&H is Disciples best lyrically, some of those lyrics really hit a cord. Love Defeaning and Dear X.
I need more time to think!
Audiovision and Stairway are also both great but just not as great as the two above.

| Fundy, that's now exactly why I haven't made a top list for 2010. | |

| Take a bit more time to think. YOu only have to grade your own favorites. You'll get no backlash here if you rank something higher than others. Fundy put the Stairway album high on his list. I didn't put it on mine at all. Who's right? (ME, of course!) Both of us are because it's just opinions. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I already started to make a list. Question. Can I rank the reissues of both Bloodgood CDs too for 2010?

| On this forum, yes.
On the CMR, no. They are reissues with just a remaster. So, on the CMR, they would not be considered a "new" release.
On CHM, as long as it was actually released in 2010, it can be on your list. It can be heavy or pop. I just want to see what everyone else loved this year. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| Fundy I have listened to "Dear Mr. X" live.. What a great song. I use this song as alarm on my cell phone now.
So I'm working on my list of 2010.

| My favorite CDs for 2010. Yep, finally.
1. Audiovision - Focus 2. Since October - Life/Scars/Apologies 3. Bloodgood - Detonation 4. Third Day - Move 5. Bloodgood - ST 6. Golden Resurrection - Glory To My King 7. Saint - Hell Blade 8. Day Of Fire - Losing All 9. Legacy - ST 10. Testify - Pushing Back The Darkness 11. Rex Carrol Band - This Was his, This Is Now 12. Lordchain - What Is -- What Was
I really like Legacy because some songs really remind me to Stryper. Why both Bloodgood reissues= Because I´ve seen Bloodgood life almost 3 years ago and I was very impressed of the show of those guys.

| Actually, I find that to be a very cool list! I don't know why you would not want to share it. Even if we disagreed, I think it is still nice to see how varied or similar our tastes can be.

| Good list, I think I had half of the same bands on my list too. The Legacy disc was a good album. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Isn't it rare I have one female fronted band in my list.
We have some bands the same in our list, not always on the same place. I only don't have HB, LNJ.
Maybe ... at one day I will tell you why I first decided not to share my list.

I am surprised that Apologetix made your list. Also, I did not know that the Mad Max was out yet. How does it compare to "Night Of White Rock" or "White Sands"? _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

5. Mad Max -Welcome America
You are the first person I have seen that really seemed to like that album. Angelic Warlord (Dynamis) only gave it a 60% http://www.angelicwarlord.com/reviews/m/madmax10.html _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Yes, so I hear their last 3 have been getting lighter and less hookier! (that's probably not a word!) Lots of people seem to be quite unexcited about Welcome America

Yeah, the list is the top ten I liked for 2010, not in any order... just numbered 1 thru 10 alphabetically. If I were to rate them 1 thru 10 the Apo would be towards the bottom.. as would be the Mad Max - it's not bad but it's not great either. I agree that MM is leaving their edgie-ness they had in the earlier years. Honestly, 2010 didn't impress me music-wise. I got about 4 or 5 albums I haven't listened to yet... but overall nothing epic was released last year in my opinion.

Night of White Rock tastes like old Shout White Sands tastes a bit like Ratt, Bon Jovi Welcome to America tastes like 80s Bon Jovi meets Bryan Adams It's not my top choice for 2010, but it's a pretty good album.
