Secular metal has Revolver (although they do sometimes cover bands like As I Lay Dying), but are there any Christian hard rock or metal magazines that you can subscribe to? I like reading at BandsOnFire, but I wish there was an actual magazine ...

I used to subscribe to HM (in the late 90's) but as the internet is more upto date I've stopped subscriptions and gone for just the internet.

There's so much information to find on the internet.
That's my source to find news about bands too.

You still have HM Magazine. Also, there is the fanzine (not as high quality as a regular magazine) Heaven's Metal. Doug Van Pelt decided to bring Heaven's Metal back, but it has not reached the status of it's glory days in my opinion. I subscribed, but all the news nowadays is old by the time you get the bi-monthly magazine.

If they combined Heaven's Metal and HM and went monthly with it, I might subscribe again for the interviews. Other than that, I just really don't need it anymore.

Yep, I agree with everyone here. HM magazine is definitely a good one, especially for interviews and Heavens Metal fanzine is pretty tight as well, except they only comes out every two months and unless you read Heavens Metal online, the printed copies are in black and white. Another good magazine is Relevant Magazine. It's not as much of a hard rock magazine as much as it is just a "Relevant" issues magazine. Although they cover the music world fairly well.
