| I found this album when looking through the new releases for today. Basically it's a compilation album of a bunch of mainstream contemporary worship songs, but rocked up a bit. For example, some of the songs are Mighty to Save, Revelation Song, Hosanna, God of This City (by Bluetree), Youre worthy of my Praise (by Jeremy Camp) and I Will Rise (by Chris Tomlin). Most of these songs sound VERY good! They have been redone to add some rock flair to the songs, but it isn't so much that it takes away from that worship feel. | A lot of those songs have already been done in a rocked out modern rock sound. Looks like this project is a bunch of studio musicians doing this and adding 2 or 3 known artists to the project hoping that these tracks will help sell their CD. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. | That was my thought about this album too. We don't need again a new version of older songs. What we need are new songs. Not released so many times on a CD. | |

| I think I like the sound of the songs from the "studio band" better than the few big name artists songs. And just as a little side note, I think if I have to hear the "God of this City" song one more time, I'm going to lose it........my lunch that is. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... | I like these. I have to agree the studio band sounds GREAT! As far as new songs...sure we can always use new songs to worship God with...but staples like these need to be revisited every chance we get...by anyone who can/who is willing to make them more accessable and popular to the next generation. |
