Rex Scott announced the guys are tracking down for a new CD. The title will be "Goin' Out With A Bang".
Curious how this album will sound.

That title sure would leave one to believe they expect to be done after this album.

Rex Scott answered on that question: "Not neccessarily....we let the fans decide that-not us". I really hope it's not "going out for X-Sinner.

They have said that they were going to quit with this one after they had had so many illegal downloads of their last number. They were claiming that over 60,00 people had downloaded that album from just one source. Most people think those numbers are probably bloated by the sharing site that they site as the source of the downloads to get people to visit their illegal site.
Either way, I'd definitely take more X-Sinner......final CD or not.

Frankly, I'm just not interested. Rockers don't whine.

Sorry, even if they had over 60,000 illegal downloads, that does not equal 60,000 units in lost sales. I doubt many of those people would have bought the album in the first place.
I do think it is wrong for people to steal the fruits of their labor, but I expect this kind of "attitude" will not go well for the band's future sales. It also seems a little naive to assume that avoiding digital-download sales will stop (or even reduce) illegal down-loading. It also kind of makes me question where their heart is in making this music.

Kind of hard to argue with that. I can see them not being happy, but this looks kind of like a temper tantrum to me.

This is the video they need to watch.
Don't let the downloaders force you out of making the music you love. If God has given you this vision, then metal up and find a way around this obstacle. If God has not called you to do it, then what are you still doing chasing the flesh?
