Trust.

Even if we've shortly published our new record "The
battle still rages" we had internal problems and tensions over the last
few months. The reasons for the situation are complex and they are to
be found on the social and personal side as well as on the spiritual
sector.

The ongoing difference of opinion about spiritual point
of views, the purpose of the band and other personal problems have lead
to a situation of mistrust between Marc Piras and the other band
members.

As a reaction to this situation, Marc Piras, the singer
of the Band (has) left the band in June 2007. In the following weeks it
came to other differences of opinion between him and the other band
members, so that we decided to start a complete new beginning. We will
keep on rocking under a new name and with a new lead singer.

We'll keep you informed about the news. At the moment we're looking for a new singer.

We want to thank you for supporting us in the past, for coming to the our
shows and for buying our CDs . Thank you for every encouraging word and
every prayer.

We hope to see you soon on one of the upcoming shows.

It is sad to see they had differences and that Marc left.
But it is good to see that the band will continue.

I wonder what the "differences in spiritual points of view" is about. I hope this doesn't mean the band will loose it's Christian message.

Thank you. I wasn't trying to be funny, I didn't know the name of the band, and from the title of the thread and what the post said I thought a band/or person in a band was having trust issues .

I am listening to it right now, and, again, this is why I am here, they sound great!!

(Couple of hours later) Listening again, while my middle child plays a computer game and the youngest (avitar-boy) bounces on a ball next to her. He asks "why does he keep saying 'victory' ?" And we have a pretty cool conversation, all of us, about victory in JC, and victory from many things as a result of JC.

Even I hope they don't loose their christian message.

I just hated to be a poser on and off stage. We had differences in that for example. In my eyes it started to become more buisness. It seem that Trust rocks wants to become famous in a way that I can't agree with anymore.
Also I didn't want to play everywhere (for excample a bikerclub where they also had a striptease lady getting undressed. We never played there!! And we discussed it before any appointmens were made!)

Also we had the big question of who is the leader of this band. I was the one with whom all has started, who organized almost everything, wrote most/many of the songs but never ever wanted to use the other band members for his own thing. I personally hold the view that 1 person has to be a leader and since I started it almost 9-10 years ago I thought that I was the one.
Until Trust rocks has changed the bass player (also a long time friend) some in the band realized that everyone can be changed in the band. A kinda cancer gew up and we became more and more unsatisfied. While we recorded "The battle still rages" I had the impression that this would be my last recording with the guys. A thought that I threw away but it came back like a boomerang and hit me on the head real hard. The last gig was good and even I didn't had a clue that I would leave.

I guess there's more to tell but I need to rush to work.

Hope this little explenation helps to understand a little why I left.

What the statement doesn't say (some show it some don't) is that I'm gonna continue in music but as another thread said in a more bluesy way, even if my myspace site playes old heavy stuff I did (Treasure Seeker)

It's sad to read this all about Trust.
I understand very good why you left 777rocker.
Hope you can gind members to start your own band.
To be honest I really like it you star to play bluesy music.
I am a fan of blues rock.
Good luck with to start a new band.

I understand the our relationship with Christ should take precident over any band or music.

I have been in a couple of amatuer bands, and I agree that any band needs a leader. Someone has to have a vision for the group, and it seems to work best when the rest of the band can share in that vision.

Stick with your convictions Marc, and may God bless whatever you do with your life musically or otherwise.

I really hope tha Mark, Hans and Jan + an unknown singer they are looking for walking the straight road without any compromise. Sometimes I really fear that it makes a kook and goes into a direction as in "Snakes in the lobby".

A little makes me wonder: I told them to continue as Trust rocks and now they are changing the name. Hmmh, we talked about that before. First I asked them to change the name but then agreed to keep it as they don't need to start from the bottom ground.

September News

Dear friends,

With this news ticker we want to keep you on the run about what's going on in the moment with our band.
We got some reactions and encouraging words from our circle of friends when we released our last statement. We really enjoyed that and we are very thankful about it.
There are also some people who are afraid, that we could lose our Christian message now. We really can't understand that, because each one of us is following Jesus Christ. And this will still affect our songs and also everything on stage and offstage.

In the last weeks we had some rehearsals. The chemistry between us is very fine and we are able to work on some new material in a relaxed and creative way. We wrote some new lyrics and recorded some very long and intensive jam sessions.


Our old musical style will remain the same and we still keep playing somewhere between straight and dirt Hard Rock and classic Metal style.


Maybe most of you are interested in the question about a new singer. We got in contact with a singer and already made up two rehearsals with him. From the first moment on it worked out very well. His musical influences are singers like Rob Flynn [machine head], Anders Fridén [inflames] oder Brandon Boyd [incubus]. He's got a strong and raw vibe in his voice and it harmonises very well with our new song material. Now we are rehearsing together just to test how everything fits and whether we can step together into the future of this band.

As soon as we made a decision we will keep you informed!

we are very proud to present our new band "Mocking Death"! Since our
September news letter a few things happened to us. As you might know,
we were looking for a new singer since Marc Piras left the band because
we wanted to continue together. With the first guy we had several
rehearsals, but it was not sure if this guy could stay in our area for
the next time or if he had to move job related. So our ways separated
and we were still looking for a new front man and lead singer.

We finally found our new member at the end of the year 2007: a huge-grown,
long haired and black dressed guy, Johannes. He is a part of the "Jesus
Freaks Münster", where Jan and Hans also belong to. We just started to
try it out and it really worked out. It was necessary for us to spend
some time together and let a good relationship grow. So we had some
good rehearsals, but also a lot of funny times, watching videos and
laugh a lot.

A few weeks ago we decided to continue as a band together. Johannes came
along with the idea to call the band "Mocking Death". Right now we have
4 new songs complete, in a very intense and deep rooted Heavy Metal
style. We are very excited about the fresh and brand new sound and
atmosphere that pushes us into a new dimension. And we can't wait to
get on stage again and to rock for you!

You are invited to visit our new myspace site and add us friends! As soon
as possible we will offer you some audio samples from rehearsal
recordings there and also some new pics! So stay tuned!
