| Messiah is a Christian Heavy Metal Band founded by singer/song writer Charles Michael. The CD "Final Warning" is ultrarare.
Messiah released their both final albums "Final Warning" in 1984 and "Going Insane" in 1985.
Messiah is:
Charles Michael, J. Scott Wood, Kieth Behnke and Dave Johnson
Today , "Final Warning" is concidered a classic Christian Metal album. No record company was interesteddue the religious lyrics. Messiah was so controversional that Shepherd Productions was hestiateto let Messiah preform live fearing the experience in clubs with alcohol, fans and other bands would undermine their Christian message. The band recorded some more songs for an EP called "Going Insane".
Retroactive Records released the Messiah stuff on CD. So now you can order there the first official CD reissue featuring the musical legacy of Messiah.
Go to the Messiah website to read more about Charles Michael and why he has written the music.

Are you a fan of classic Christian music? Then you really have to check out the Messiah CDs. It's very cool music. I like both CDs.

| I have listened to this band a few times and while it seems that they are very capable musically (in all departments).....something leaves me wanting more from their music. It's not that I dislike the music, but for some reason it seems like it should be "more _______" (fill in the blank, because I can't seem to put my finger on it). _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... | "Final Warning" has some real good songs on it- Messiah knows how to compose a piece with a solid melody. The album has good variety as well, ranging from classic melodic metal pieces and those taking a more traditional metal approach.
I plan to have a review online at Angelic Warlord later this weekend.

| Very cool dynamis. I'm looking forward to read your review.
I have ordered both Messiah CDs. To be honest I was a bit disappointed to see that there are on "Going Insane" four songs who are on "Final Warning" too.
I love the classic sound of Messiah.
In my opinion on each CD are songs you really like and songs you like not so much.

I plan to have a review online at Angelic Warlord later this weekend. Agreed..... The vocalist does sound like Buck Dharma from Blue Oyster Cult...

| I found the Messiah stuff to be more than a little lackluster, too, Staybrite. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| It really makes a difference to like a CD or to love a CD. My "love" CD are high in my favorites for this year. | |

| I liked it.... I don't love it either, but it was pretty good. If it had had larger distribution back in the early 80's when they recorded it, It would've been much more memorable. We're hearing old 80's hard rock for the first time.... Probably won't have the largest appeal... | |
