| My wife and I have never been good housekeepers. We're just too lazy and are great at putting work around the house off time after time after time.
Recently, though, we bought a new couch and some end tables and are waiting for the couch to come in. In the meantime, we are trying to get the house more in order and get the living room looking nice.
Part of this is my voluntary relocation of all my CDs to the 2 story building behind the house. I moved a gigantic cabinet upstairs today that is supposed to hold 1600 CDs. I am taking a quick break from moving CDs and alphabetizing them by artist. Right now, I just want to get them moved. In the weeks to come, though, I may begin to drastically take some of the lesser played and find a new home for them.
Man, what a job! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| Sounds like lots of fun. When you figure it out let us know what discs you plan on moving out. You always seem to have something I want to buy.
I have a friend who has a collection of over 3000 cds, casette tapes and records. His wife made him move them all out to the garage when they got married.

Sure hope his garage was air conditioned or it's time to find a new wife. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| Well it seldom gets hot enough here to need a/c. But it did probably back-fire on her as he moved all his guitars and amps out there as well.....so he probably spends more time in the garage then in the house. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Actually, after moving so many discs, I am thinking of just going digital and getting rid of as many--if not all--CDs and just joining the MP3 generation.

| I'm working on that too, but I only have about 500 cds (so Im going to keep those). But any new "album" I have purchased this year has been a download.

| My first load of CDs that will be leaving will be the praise & worship stuff that I have not played in years. I needed the music at the time but cannot remember even one song from some of those CDs. I will list them in a few days so anyone can buy them cheap as individual titles or in lots.

| I am very relieved to read there are more people in this world who aren't good housekeepers. That really helps me.
A good advice from my husband is that you have to put all your music you have on your computer on a external hard disk. When your computer will crahs you don't lost all your precious music, but your MP3's are safe on the external hard disk.
Hmm, I might be interested in some of your P & W CDs.

| I serious will try to download a CD. You know the problem with CDs is that you always have to rip them to use them on your MP3 player. When you buy and download MP3's can you download the artwork too? I am the one who loves to read the lyrics of a CD. | |
