| Today is the day I'm finally going to see Stryper. Yep, really.
Hope the guys haven't forgotten Timothy Gains. I hope Oz and Timothy rock together.

| Looks like from the videos I've seen Tim is on the tour. I get the feeling, and I could be way off, that Tim is going to be a part of the band again. I think they may record 1 more album (I think thier original deal with Big 3 was 3 albums) featuring all four original members, tour and then ride off into the sunset | |

| The Stryper gig was absolutely vet gaaf, very cool. Those guys even rock after 25 years.
Yes, I haven't seen Tracy Ferrie, Timothy Gaines played bass.
We were upstairs so we could see Stryper better, but there you can't get the guitar pics and the Stryper Bibles.
Stryper played songs from their previous CDs and some songs from "Murder By Pride
They started to introduce the band with "other"names. I wonder if this are their real names. Michael called Oz Ricardo, I think it's his real name.
Fundy have fun today with the Stryper gig.

| Teh fan in me likes being close to the stage so I can get goodies. The old man I've become likes to sit a little further back because the sound quality is better, and you don't get shoved around by the mass of people standing up front.
Glad you liked the show! Who were the opening bands? _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

I agree, if the area close to the stage is standing room only. I just head straight to the balcony and try to get the front row.

| I will still try and get as up front and close to the stage as I can. I remember back in the day seeing Guardian in concert being up front next to the speakers. I like balcony seating if the venue isn't that big because you can definitley see better | |

| Medics opened for Stryper. I wish Stryper played half an hour longer.
Medics is a local band making a lot of noise.
I would love to stand closer to the stage, but when we arrived there were lots of people. Bummmeeeeerrrrrr.

| I've just got back. There were about 500 or so there. The supporting band were DRAVEN and they were pretty good, playing about 5 or 6 songs. There was a long wait for Stryper to appear (looked like a techy issue, but weren't sure) but when they did arrive they ripped up the stage totally. It was great to see the 4 original guys playing such a great list of tunes......... and the set list was........
01 - Soldiers Under Command 02 - Murder by Pride 03 - Loud and Clear 04 - The Rock That Makes Me Roll 05 - Reach Out 06 - Calling On You 07 - Free 08 - More Than a Man 09 - Breaking the Law 10 - Peace of Mind 11 - Four Leaf Clover 12 - Honestly 13 - Open Your Eyes 14 - All For One 15 - My Love I'll Always Show (MBP version) 16 - The Way 17 - Sing Along Song (Abyss) 18 - To Hell With the Devil
With the possible exception of Open Your Eyes (it sounded a bit too different to the other songs) all of the songs were superb.

| That's the same playlist as they had for the gig here.
Fundy did they the same with the big yellow balloons? Tim is very good to pick with his bass the balloons. I bet he has practised before.
Did you like the Stryper gig?

Fundy In my best possibel Napoleon Dynamite voice...."Lucky!" I would have loved to see that set, including "Open Your Eyes" - one of the best tunes from "Reborn" IMO. Man, that must have been a killer show!
