| I have to concur with alldat, but make that months for me. I haven't watched any movie since The Hobbit, I think. For some reason, I'd rather listen to music and read a book (and imagine the picture playing itself) than watch a movie. | |

What did you think of that? I loved it, but then again Monster's Inc. was my favorite pixar film...and I'm a big fan of the Mike Wazowski character. Loved it. Wish they'd make a sequel to The Incredibles. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

Awesome flick! It's a lot of fun! Johnny Depp added a lot of his own flair to the Tonto character. All in all, it was done very well. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| The Queen of Versailles, interesting documentary about one of the richest men in the country and his trophy wife dealing with the great recession. The wife and I were surprised to see a brief cameo of her cousin's daughter when she was competing as Miss Washington in the 2009 Miss America Pageant.

I wasn't impressed with part 1 enough to even bother watching for part 2 to be released. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| The main thing I didn't like about them was they had different actors playing the same parts in both movies. Now when part 3 comes out I am sure there will be another actor for the same parts.

I didn't even realize it was based on a novel. The way the story goes it makes me think of the way things are going in America things could turn out that way.

| GI Joe: Retaliation
If you don't like a lot of shooting and blowing stuff up, then don't watch this movie.
I would have liked it better if there had been more Cobra Commander on screen, some Destro, and more agents from both the Joes and Cobra. Both sets were seriously trimmed to bring in The Rock and Bruce Willis to try to save this franchise. It worked, but they are going to really have to work on a killer story to make a third one of these.

| ^ Love that show. Season 2 is equally good except that they only did 10 episodes. They just finished showing the 10 episodes for season 3 which I will have to wait for on DVD next year. | |

Kind of interested to see what they are going to do with season 2. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlas_Shrugged I actually liked both of the films. No, they weren't my favorite movies ever, but they do show what is happening to the USA as though you are looking in a the newspapers. If you combine Atlas Shrugged with Orwell's 1984, you can actually see where we are at now as far as westernized societies go.

| I liked them both too and agree with you about the story. It was just changing the actors that I didn't like. How often do you see a movie and then the sequel recasts the the parts to each/all of the lead/important roles. I got so used to seeing the actors in part 1 and thought they did real well. Then part 2 came around with the new cast and I had to readjust as they were different in the way they did the character to a bit. Imagine Indiana Jones being Harrison Ford in Raiders and then they go back and recast with Tom Selleck in Temple of Doom. | |

That movie scared the pants off people when it first aired on tv in the 1980's. I remember watching it then with my family, there was a disclaimer at the beginning (or end) of the film that claimed the actual outcome of the nuclear war would be much worse than what was depicted in the film. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... | I watched Hot Fuzz again last night. That is a mighty fine flick in my opinion! Love the witty dialogue, goofy plot and characters, and of course all the movie references.

| Yeah ,it is basically put together to honor /give homage to action movies. I enjoyed it as well.
Have you seen "Paul"? It is also by the same people and does for sci-fi movies what Hot Fuzz does for action. While IMO Paul is funnier,it is also raunchier.
