Star trek Into Darkness

While I won't say too much for those that haven't seen it yet,I will say it was cool. Yet there are a few things that will take you back to an earlier Star Trek flick.

Also if you are a fan of 3D,it was well done. The 3D was so natural looking I almost thought it was filmed in 3D. I saw in an article sometime back that it was only filmed in 2 D and post-converted.

We just saw the 2D version, but we went to see Star Trek Into Darkness last night. It was a lot of fun, and I was right about who the villian was. it did give a tip of the hat back to an earlier film and famous tv episode. However, there were a lot of changes made to the story for a new generation of Trek fans who had no knowledge of the original story.

I finished the first two seasons of Walking Dead on Netflix this weekend. When is NEtflix getting season 3????

My wife and daughter went and saw the new Star Trek in 3D. I would have gone, but I don't do 3D

I am also waiting for season 3 on DVD. Considering I don't have cable and the ep's are not available online, I have to wait. Season 2 DVD's came out in August 2012 while season 3 started Oct. 2012. For Season 3 we will probably have to wait til Aug. or Sept. 2013 for the DVD's.

Right now I have to wait another week and a half for season 2 of Falling Skies on DVD.
